Full paper

Full papers are optional and will be included in electronic version of the proceedings. They will not be peer-reviewed. The proceedings will be available online for registered participants. If you do not wish to provide a full paper, the abstract will be used in the proceedings instead.

Full paper guidelines

The full paper (up to 10 pages) must be written in English using A4 size. Please use the WasteEng template. This template contains some WasteEng styles embedded in the file, and dedicated to the appropriate sections:

– Title page (Title, Name of authors, affiliations, keywords and abstract)

– Introduction

– Materials and methods

– Results and discussion

– Conclusions

– Reference list (please provide at least one reference)

We invite you to carefully follow the instruction provided in the template. Please contact us if you have any concern or request.

Specifications for the electronic file format

The full paper must be submitted as a word as well as a PDF files, and only A4 page size is accepted. Scanned PDF files are not accepted.

The PDF file must be created using a PDF distiller, all fonts must be embedded. The file must neither contain any form of security, nor bookmarks, nor links, nor multiple files in a single PDF file.

Please note that your files must not exceed 3MB. 


 Full paper upload and modification(s)

In order to upload your full paper, you should have an accepted paper and you have to be registered to the WasteEng2018 Conference. Access to your account and click on the « Upload full paper » button.

If you need to modify your full paper, it may be done until the deadline.


Abstract update

Following the reviewing process, you may have to revise your abstract. Please revise the document accordingly and send back your word and pdf files.

Theme issues - Waste and Biomass Valorization

Only authors of selected papers (based on the abstract) will be invited to submit a journal paper for review in Theme Issues. The invitation will be sent in March.

After this step, the papers should follow the regular peer-review process of the journal Waste and Biomass Valorization (Springer).
